About the Authors: Maria Ingrande Mora is a marketing executive and a brunch enthusiast. Her love languages are snacks, queer joy, and live music. A graduate of the University of Florida, Maria lives near a wetlands preserve with two dogs, two cats, two children, and two billion mosquitoes. She can often be found writing at her stand-up desk, surrounded by house plants. Unless the cats have already destroyed them.

Olivia Chadha began her writing career with a stint in Los Angeles writing comic book scripts for Fathom and Cannon Hawke for Michael Turner. Balance of Fragile Things is her debut adult novel and Rise of the Red Hand (book one of The  Mechanists Series) is her YA debut. Olivia has a PhD from Binghamton University and a master's in creative writing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her research centers on exile, folklore and fairy tales, and the environment. She is a first-generation American of Punjabi Sikh and Latvian heritage and lives in Colorado with her family and two very odd dogs.

Kelly McWilliams is a mixed-race writer who has always gravitated towards stories about crossing boundaries and forging new identities. For this and so many other reasons, young adult literature will always be close to her heart. Her novel, Agnes at the End of the World, benefitted from a We Need Diverse Books Mentorship. She has loved crafting stories all her life, and her very first novel, Doormat, was published when she was just fifteen-years old. Kelly has also worked as a staff writer for Romper, covering issues important to women and families. She lives in Colorado with her partner and young daughter.
