Indy Jamma Jones is the creator of Planet Roller Skate and a member of the Moxi Skate Team. She trained gymnastics for 16 years and competed as a USAG Level 10 All-Around Gymnast for three. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas School of Architecture she moved from Austin to Los Angeles to work as an architectural lighting designer. After one year at a desk she quit her day job to train and develop her gymnastics inspired roller skate style. She now spends her time teaching, traveling, performing, and creating digital roller skate content. Her project Planet Roller Skate aims to tell the stories of skaters from around the globe while giving people the information they need to get rolling. Personally experiencing the positive impact skating has on individuals and communities motivates Indy to inspire as many people as possible to get rolling by sharing her vision of a world on wheels.
