Every first Saturday we host poets! This month come to hear from Camille Dungy and Juan Morales. Camille will be reading from her book and Juan will be reading from his book The Handyman’s Guide to End Times.

About Juan Morales:
Juan J. Morales is the son of an Ecuadorian mother and Puerto Rican father. He is the author of three poetry collections, including Friday and the Year That Followed, The Siren World, and The Handyman’s Guide to End Times (UNM Press). His poetry has appeared in CSPAN2, Copper Nickel, Crab Orchard Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Pleiades, Poetry Daily, and others. He is a CantoMundo Fellow, a Macondista, the Editor/Publisher of Pilgrimage Press, and Department Chair of English & World Languages at Colorado State University-Pueblo. In Morales’s newest collection, an imagined zombie apocalypse intertwines with personal narrative. From zombie dating to the sin of popcorn ceilings, these poems investigate the nature of impermanence while celebrating the complexities of life.
