About Alicia:

ALICIA MOUNTAIN is the author of the collection High Ground Coward (University of Iowa Press), which won the Iowa Poetry Prize, and the chapbook Thin Fire (BOAAT Press). She is a

lesbian poet, critic, and educator based in Denver and New York.


About Joy:

Joy Roulier Sawyer is the author of a poetry collection, Tongues of Men and Angels, as well as several nonfiction books. She holds and MA from New York University, where she received the Herbert Rubin Award for Outstanding Creative Writing, and teaches at Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver.
