Children's Book Week Storytime with Dow Phumiruk

Join us for a morning storytime with Dow Phumiruk to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Children’s Book Week. Children’s Book Week is the annual celebration of children’s books and reading. Established in 1919, it is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country.

Dow Phumiruk, a pediatrician, was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and came to live in the United States when she was about three years old. She loves children and sharing stories. She is an award-winning author and illustrator and has recently signed a contract for her ninth book project in just over three years. She has been a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators since 2011. Dow lives with her family in Lone Tree, Colorado. Visit to learn more.
