BookBed opened in Fall 2015. This one bedroom apartment above BookBar is the perfect location for authors and book lovers. With book themed decor throughout, full kitchen, laundry, private balcony and entrance, this is the perfect get away for the literary minded. Visit family nearby, write your book, or take a break from your book tour—right above Denver's favorite bookstore wine bar.

Gillian Philip is one of the authors under the pen name, Erin Hunter. She has written for the Survivors series, along with Inbali Iserles. She lives in the northeast Scottish Highlands with her husband, three dogs, two cats, and hamster.

2nd Annual BookBar Children's Bookfest

BookBar is teaming up with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society of Children's Book Authors and Illustrators to put on our second annual Children's BookFest! Bring the whole family to celebrate all things kid-lit. Meet award-winning Colorado and visiting authors & illustrators at a festival of readings and story times, a carnival of our bookish community partners, magic, food and more! Dress up as your favorite books character for a prize. Kids and their families of all ages are welcome. Read, snack, and discover new favorite books to share.
